‘Virushka’ spending a snowy honeymoon in Rome

Internet Desk: Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma are having their honeymoon in Rome. The couple was seen leaving the resort Borgo Finocchieto in Tuscany on Tuesday morning. The newlywed couple was in a SUV, escorted by a police car as the gates of the resort opened. Virat was spotted in front seat while Anushka was seated at the back.  It is not yet confirmed where in Rome they will have their honeymoon.

The lovebirds flew to Italy, the destination for their super low-key wedding, in the wee hours of December 8. The wedding ceremonies were laid out December 9 onwards and the wedding finally took place on the morning of 11th December.

Virat and Anushka had said in a joint statement, “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share this wonderful news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans and well-wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.”

The lovebirds are currently in Rome for their honeymoon, where the Bollywood diva has shared their pictures on her instagram account. In the image the couple is seen wearing ski-gears and black beanies against the beautiful backdrop of winter snow, the couple is seen all cuddled up in love.

Anushka gave a lovely caption which reads, “In heaven, literally.”

The newlyweds shall host two receptions – one for their family members and one for their friends from Bollywood and cricket world.
