That Moment When #Viraat Congratulated #Chhetri for SAFF Success on Twitter!

Indian sports had quite a moment recently, when the daring son of Indian cricket (read Virat Kohli) sent a special message to ace Indian football player – Sunil Chhetri. This message came after the latter was rejoicing after the SAFF cup victory. Kohli, has a keen interest in football as he is a fan of Real Madrid in La Liga and also co-owns the Goa franchise in the Indian Super League (ISL). Virat wished the team and especially Sunil for the extra time goal that he scored, taking his team through the doors of victory. This is a wonderful development in the sports fraternity. Football which has always been India’s latent strength in Sports hadn’t managed to get the kind of attention that cricket has garnered over the years. With the involvement of stars, it seems, the game has started to receive its share of attention from all corners of the country and the world. Big names of world football, can now be seen on Indian fields, thanks to the ISL. Sunil-Kohli-collage
