Internet Desk : Minutes after the historic 7th successive CFL title, East Bengal coach Trevor Morgan spoke exclusively to XtraTime.in, all the way from Perth, Australia, regarding his feeling, his thoughts, the journey to glory as well as his plans for the forthcoming Hero I-League. Following are the excerpts:

XT: Congrats Trevor! East Bengal creates history to win record 7th successive CFL title. How’s ur feeling?
Trevor: Very happy for Richard, our supporters and our squad. It’s not been way but 8 wins from 8 is a great achievement!

XT: Did you speak to to the players before the game?
Trevor: No. No need, They are professionals and knew what they had to do. They were in capable hands with Richard.

XT: How big a motivation will it be ahead of the I-league?
Trevor: It won’t be. It’s over now. It’s history!

XT: Do you want to change the set of foreigners you have, since Calum played brilliantly?
Trevor: Calum did exactly how I knew he could. He took so much criticism as he had a shaky debut. I am happy for him.

XT: You have raised the standard of the game of the players like Dika, Abinash to a different height. How difficult was this success as you had immense pressure of expectation on your shoulders?
Trevor: There has always been pressure and expectations at EB. It comes with job. I’d rather be under pressure at the top than the bottom….

XT: What will be your message for the fans who came with the banners to support your club, right from the very first game?
Trevor: They support EB and whoever is in charge is irrelevant. I am happy we sent them home with something to cheer about.
