UCL 2021: Final venue changed to Porto
Xtra Time Web Desk: The venue for the UEFA Champions League final for 2021, which is slated to be contested between Manchester City and Chelsea, was announced to have been changed to the Estádio do Dragão in Porto, Portugal on Thursday, 13th May, 2021. The previous location for the final, Istanbul, was changed owing to the COVID-19 situation in Turkey.
The finals will see Manchester City making their maiden appearance at this stage of the competition, while Chelsea will be looking to win their second ever UEFA Champions League title, having won their first in 2012. The two teams have met twice already this year, with Chelsea coming out on top on both occasions, so it will be an intriguing battle to witness for the fans. The final also sees UEFA experimenting with letting fans attend the final during the pandemic once again, so it will be an interesting one all round.
