Transfer News: Manchester United sign Jadon Sancho after agreeing a deal with Dortmund
Xtra Time Web Desk: English Premier League giants Manchester United on Wednesday confirmed the signing of England rising star Jadon Sancho. The club from Old Trafford has agreed a deal in principle with Borussia Dortmund for the signing of the striker. The deal was worth in the region of £73m with personal terms already agreed.
Sancho will officially join the Red Devils after England’s campaign in the EURO 2020. He has to pass a medical.
Sancho's contract at Dortmund runs until the summer of 2023 but United did not want to risk him entering the final year of his deal.
The 21-year-old came through Watford's academy before joining City in 2015, but he moved on to Dortmund in 2017 after declining the offer of a new contract at the Etihad.
Sancho established himself as a key player at Dortmund, scoring 50 goals in 137 Bundesliga appearances.
The talented footballer will now join his England teammate Marcus Rashford at Old Trafford.
