Kolkata: The Indian transfer market gets a new turmoil today as it reminded some infamous transfer controversies in the recent past like Snehasish Chakraborty and Tolgay Ozbey. Coincidentally, it’s Kingfisher East Bengal again in the centre of controversy. This time, it’s Abinas Ruidas who is the victim.

The exciting youngster, who had a splendid ISL season for Atletico de Kolkata in 2016, is now having serious problem in his career. The left-footed winger seldom got the opportunity to play for East Bengal in the previous season. A confirmed source informed www.xtratime.in that, a few days back, when he enquired of the Red and Gold officials to know the details of his contract with the club as he believes that his contract with the club is all but over. Though the club claimed that he still has his contract with the club. The amount which he gets from the club too is not at all conducive. Though Abinas reportedly told the club that he is ready to play for East Bengal if they can show any original paper of contract to him. In reply, the club showed him a photo copy of the contact paper, and that too was not quite justifying for the talented youngster.

Sensing the situation, Mohun Bagan tried to take full advantage of it, by promising him to fulfill his financial demand if he joins the Mariners. The proposal was indeed a lucrative one for Abinas and a much better one compare to what East Bengal pays him. Abinas too is taking this possible transfer move very seriously.

Abinas though made a sensible decision to leave the case on his agent Anuj Kichlu, to solve it. Anuj too responded immediately and asked the East Bengal officials to show the original documents of his contract. Though, the club officials are yet to show anything after that. Fumed in anger, Abinas is reportedly trying to take further steps. Already three ISL franchise, Kerala Blasters, Mumbai City FC and Atletico de Kolkata are in regular discussions with him with a constant penchant to sign him in their favour. Though, the contract offered by Mohun Bagan seemed to have made a significant impact as well. The Green and Maroon brigade have offered his childhood inspiration and mentor Jewel Raja as well as a lure to bring Abinas in the club to solve their void on the left wing.

Though East Bengal official Debabrata Sarkar told the media, “If we have to show the contract papers, we will show those to the IFA or AIFF. I’m not bound to show that to his agent, as he was not his agent when he signed for the club.”

But, as it seems, the future of the youngster is at stake unless it gets a rapid solution. The past incidents like Tolgay and Snehasish are burning examples of that.
