Kolkata:
The football world is going through a transition period to find the future stars who will rule the world to fill the void of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Here www.xtratime.in picks the top three teen-age sensations of world football, who could the world in the years to come.

Kasper Dolberg

Kas

The Dane has impressed in his second season with Dutch giants, Ajax. A platitude of European strikers, Dolberg is good with the ball at his feet. Dolberg is not an orthodox striker who tries to play with his back to the goal but instead enjoys coming deep to get the ball and link up with the wingers. The 19-year old centre forward has already scored twelve times for Ajax. His pace has been troubling the defenders in Eredivisie. Fortunately for them, it looks like Dolberg would be leaving Ajax very soon as he being courted by the likes of Dortmund and Liverpool.

Marcus Rashford

Ras

The Englishman’s rise to prominence has truly been a fairytale. If it weren’t for Anthony Martial’s injury just before the match against Midtjylland, Rashford probably would have been on loan playing for another club. However, to his credit, Rashford took his chance supremely scoring two goals on his debut. Icing on the cake came when he scored twice against archrivals Arsenal to cap off a brilliant week for him. Since then, Rashford has been an important figure for Manchester United. With Mourinho preferring Zlatan as the main striker, Rashford has had to contend with playing on the wings. However, if there is a manager who could mould Rashford into the world-class talent, it is the Special One.

Kylian Mbappe

One of the most sought-after strikers in Europe at the moment, Kylian Mbappe has been in sensational form for Monaco this season. Leonardo Jardim’s Monaco have been scoring goals for fun in the Ligue 1 having scored 76 goals in just 26 matches. Mbappe has been an important part of that goal scoring galore from Monaco having scored 12 goals. The Frenchman broke the record of Thierry Henry by becoming the youngest player to make debut for Monaco. He also scored a hat trick in the 7-0 win over Rennes becoming the first player to score a hat trick for Monaco in 20 years.  Mbappe is expected to follow Anthony Martial’s footsteps as he is being regularly scouted by the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal.
