Team India to play 3 ODI's at home against Afghanistan in March, 2022
Xtra Time Web Desk : Team India will play a 3 match ODI series against Afghanistan in March, 2022. Afghanistan Cricket Board made an official announcement on Monday to confirm the series.
The bilateral series between Team India and Afghanistan would be a great advertisement for cricket going forward as the two teams locking horns would benefit the mutual relationship between the two countries. Along with that, the series would surely help Afghanistan's cricket financially after what happened in their country a few months ago.
The series would also see fan favourites like Rashid Khan and Mohammed Nabi play against the likes of KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant, which would also add to the beauty of the game. Now, with this bilateral series finally happening, it will be interesting to see how this helps in the growth of Cricket globally.
Apart from the series against India, Afghanistan will be squaring off against Netherlands, Zimbabwe, Australia, Ireland in 2022. Furthermore, the ACB is in talks with other cricket nations to arrange more bilateral matches for the national team, as part of the ICC Future Tours Program, which will be announced in due course.
