India will be touring island country Sri Lanka in the month of July to play a full fledged one-day and T-20 series. As India's mainstream team led by Virat Kohli will be touring England to play World test championship final and series vs England. This series will be a platform for pool of India players who are eyeing a first team spot. It is learnt from the sources that Rahul Dravid is likely to be India's head coach and Shikhar Dhawan expected to lead the side.

India will be touring Sri Lanka in July to play a white-ball series. This series will include three ODIs and three T20Is. A itinerary is proposed by the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI ) . Both teams will be fighting in three ODIs first and it is followed by the T20I matches.

As per report received the three ODIs will be played on July 13, 16, 19 and it will be followed by the T20I series to be played in July from 22-27. The venues are not yet decided by the Sri Lanka board.

Indian team will be arriving in Sri Lanka on July 5 and they will be back home on July 28. After arriving in island country both teams had to go through a week-long quarantine.
