Sindhu suffers a shocking loss in the China Open

Internet Desk: The only India left in the China Open Super Series PV Sindhu bowed out of the series after she suffered a shocking loss at the hands of teenager in the quarter finals. Sindhu went down 11-21, 10-21 to Gao Fangje of China.

The World no 2 failed to keep her composure and was outmatched by the swift movements and strokes of the Chinese who is ranked 89. The first game saw the 19 year old shuttler score 7 consecutive points to seal the game.

The second game was more or less the same which saw Fangjie speeding up while Sindhu accumulated some points in the middle failed to keep her focus and ultimately had to lose out 21-10.

After exits of HS Prannoy and Saina Nehwal, Sindh was the only Indian who was representing her nation. She defeated Yue Han of China to reach the quarters.
