Internet Desk: Australian all rounder Shane Watson has announced that he will retire at the end of the ICC World T20 in India. Watson took retirement from test cricket last year at the end of the Ashes.
Watson had made his International ODI debut against South Africa in Centurion on March 24,2002. Watson is one of the seven players in history to have the rare feat to achieve a double of 10000 runs and 250 wickets in International cricket in all the three formats. He has played 190 ODIs and has scored 5757 runs at an average of 40.54.
Forbes Magazine recently revealed that Watson was the highest paid non-Indian cricketer with an income of almost $6 millions. Watson was also part of the Australia's World Cup winning squad in 2007 and 2015. Watson will continue to play in the various T20 leagues including the IPL.
