XtraTime Web Desk: Indian cricket team’s star pacer Mohammed Shami is in jeopardy after his wife has alleged him for adultery and match fixing. Though as per Shami he has proof regarding his innocence and now he will be “taking the legal route” and won’t settle the matters out of court.

“I have evidence to prove my innocence. There is no chance of mending things with my wife, and I am not willing to have an out-of-court settlement, will take legal route,” Shami told a channel.

The star pacer found himself in deep trouble when Jahan told the media that Shami had extra-marital affairs with other women and after that BCCI withheld his contract as well. Not only had that Jahan also alleged that Shami even forced her to have physical relations with his brother.

It got even worse, when Jahan further alleged that Shami had taken money from a Pakistani lady named Alishba which was given by England-based person, Mohammad Bhai. This forced the CoA to tell the Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) to investigate the fixing charges against Shami.

As per the current scenario, Shami may miss the IPL as well for his franchise Delhi Daredevils.

“Look, Daredevils management can’t take any unilateral decision in this matter. All players who play in the IPL have a tripartite contract involving the franchise, BCCI and the player. Yes, we are well aware about the sensitive situation and we are having discussions with top BCCI officials. There is a clause about any player bringing disrepute but it is for the lawyers to interpret it,” a senior franchise official had said last Friday.
