Sabyasachi Bagchi: Indian cricket team’s star pacer Mohammed Shami is in more jeopardy as her wife Hasin Jahan may give her secret statement to the Magistrate under the act of CrPC 164 on Tuesday. In the mean time, Shami’s family has come to Kolkata a couple of days back to talk with Hasin Jahan and her family to solve this matter mutually. Today they met with Hasin at her lawyer’s chamber but the meeting was not fruitful, later Zakir Hossain (Hasin’s Lawyer) blamed the media for this matter.
After this, Hasin went to Lal Bazar with her lawyer and stayed there for almost 4 hours. As per sources she has filed a new F.I.R at Women’s Grievance Cell and alleged that Shami had a physical relation with a married lady of South Africa from January 23 to February 17 when he was touring with the Indian cricket team. She further said that Shami went to that lady’s home as well for several times.
Beside that Hasin has handed over the controversial mobile of Mohammed Shami to the police authority today. On being asked about the matter, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Pravin Tripathi said,” We have seized the mobile for further investigation. We will examine the evidences in a special laboratory.”
Mr. Tripathi further added that the super model will give her secret statement in front of the Magistrate very soon.” She will give her secret statement in front of the Magistrate very soon.” Which means her statement will be recorded under the act of CrPC 164. If she gives this statement, police can take more strict actions against Shami. On the other hand Kolkata Police has asked for the tour details of Mohammed Shami from BCCI during SA tour, but the board hasn’t answered yet.
Though the Police authority is investigating the case very fast but they aren’t thinking of arresting Shami right now. As per sources they won’t call Shami at Lal Bazar right now as well. But a team of Kolkata Police will go to Uttar Pradesh to deliver the case notice to Mohammed Shami.
