On the tennis court, Sania Mirza can send her opponents packing with sizzling smashes and badass backhands. Her story off the court seems different as she just walked into a volley of savage trolls. Probably she’s at her best only while playing tennis and not during promotional stunts.
Mirza took to social media to promote the new One Plus 3T but she did it through an iPhone. And that was enough for predators on social media to wreak havoc. Mirza immediately took the tweet off her handle once people went on a troll spree.
Following the trend followed by a lot of celebrities, Mirza was probably unaware that the every tweet made from the app on iPhone comes with the tag ‘via Twitter for iPhone’ to promote Apple.
The users of the microblogging site took notice that she was endorsing it out of sheer personal gains and was herself not using the smartphone product. This angered many, while others trolled her ruthlessly.
