Salman Khan’s brother Arbaaz summoned for betting during IPL 2018

XtraTime Web Desk: Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan has been linked to betting during the recently concluded Indian Premier League 2018. The actor has been summoned by the Thane Police in connection of his alleged links with betting.

According to reports, the actor who is also the brother of Salman Khan, was summoned by the Mumbai Police after his name cropped up during an investigation of a high-profile bookie named Sonu Jalan.

It is learnt Arbaaz placed his bets with the help of top bookies. The Bollywood director cum actor was also seen in a few TV shows during the cash-rich league. The actor has been asked to record his statement. The Dabangg star has to appear on Saturday, (June 2).

Arbaaz has been pictured with Jalan, who is believed to have a connection with the underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. He was arrested from Kalyan court in Mumbai. Jalan was previously arrested for betting during IPL in 2008.

It will be interesting to see whether he (Arbaaz) can escape like his brother Salman.
