collage Internet Desk: Wriddhiman Saha brought back memories of India ODI captain MS Dhoni with his brilliant anticipation and presence of mind. It was his effort on the field that inflicted a run out of England opener Haseeb Hameed. It also brought back Virat Kohli and his team back in the match.

England was looking to get back in the match with a partnership between Root and Hameed. But a sheer brilliance on the field from the Bengal stumper brought an end to the promising start from the young England opener. Root pushed Jadeja towards the leg side and started for a single. He called Hameed for a second one but soon changed his mind. Jayant Yadav did exceedingly well to chase the ball and threw it to Saha who came in front to collect the ball. Seeing Hameed still short of his crease, he did a back flick to break the stumps.

The reflex and presence of mind from Saha reminded Dhoni. The Indian ODI captain ran out Ross Taylor during the 4th ODI in Ranchi on October 26. Ross Taylor played towards fine leg and ran for a quick two runs. He completed the first run with ease and turned for the second run. Dhawal Kulkarni, who made good ground picked the ball and threw it to Dhoni. The Indian captain noticing he will take a fraction of seconds more time to turn and throw the ball to the wicket, back flicked it. The New Zealand batsman was amazed to see his stumps broken before he made his ground. It was a crucial wicket for India, but despite the brilliance from Dhoni in the middle, the men in blue went on to lose the fourth ODI by 19 runs.

England still has a mountain to climb in the remaining three days. Cook and his team still need 153 runs to save the follow-on. It will take some effort from the visitors to make the hosts bat again, and then save the match.
