Internet Desk: Narsingh Yadav demanded CBI probe against the dope test result imposed on him. After Narsingh Yadav his roommate Sandeep Yadav tested positive for consuming banned steroid. Only these two tested positive in dope test. The wrestler as well as Wrestling Federation of India raised question of conspiracy after this fact came out.

“I am myself shocked after this, it’s a conspiracy against me. CBI probe should be conducted. I am doing so well, why would I even take banned steroids? In the mess anyone can mix anything in water or food and give it, I have written all this to the federation”, claimed Narsingh.

Day before yesterday Rio bound Indian Wrestler Narsingh Yadav failed dope test as his sample ‘B’ tested positive. After that the dope test result of his roommate as well as his team mate and Bronze medalist of World Wrestling Championship, 2013 Sandeep Yadav also tested positive.

“The fact that Narsingh’s teammate at the camp has also tested positive for the same substance, it clearly looks to be a foul play. Both the wrestlers were consuming the same supplements as they were roommates. It arises suspicion,” WFI assistant secretary Vinod Tomar said.

Yesterday the 74 kg Freestyle category wrestler denied of the blame bestowed upon him. He said, “This is a conspiracy against me. I have never taken any banned substance”.

A question of conspiracy was raised from the declaration of Narsingh yesterday. That has been strengthened following the quotes of the assistant secretary of WFI also. Vinod Tomar further declared, “”There was a high quantity of steroid in the sample, which is hard to believe.”

He also raised question, “It seems like a deliberate thing. Why would anyone take such high dose”.The assistant secretary Tomar also confirmed that no other wrestler of the camp at SAI, Sonepat has been tested positive. “Only these two guys have failed it and this clearly indicates that something is wrong”, he added.

However, president of WFI Brijbhushan Sharan Singh is still confident of Narsingh’s chance to Rio Olympics. Today in a press conference he said, “What happened to Narsingh Yadav is an injustice. I hope Narsingh Yadav will still be able to represent India at the Rio Olympics.”

The National Anti-Doping Agency(NADA) has to file some more reports to ADDP further to convict Narsingh of consuming banned steroid. After that the decision over his journey to Rio Olympics will be taken. “NADA will take a final call on the issue on Friday”, said says WFI President Brijbhushan Sharan Singh.

Prior to that he has been handed provisional suspension and virtually ruled out of next month’s Olympics. The 26-year-old wrestler’s Olympics accreditation has also been withheld.
