Xtra Time Web Desk: Team India captain Rohit Sharma reportedly received three traffic challans for speeding on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. The incident took place when he was driving on his way to join the Indian team in Pune for game against Bangladesh on Thursday, October 18.

According to reports, Sharma was driving at a speed exceeding 200 km/h and hence three online traffic challans were issued to his vehicle for reckless driving.

The report suggested that the traffic authorities have stated that the Indian captain was driving at high speeds, exceeding 200 km/h and even reaching 215 km/h at times. Rohit has received three challans for speeding.

The Men in Blue will take on Bangladesh at the Maharashtra Cricket Association stadium in Pune on October 19. In the recent meeting between the both sides, Bangladesh defeated India by 6 runs in the Super 4 clash in Asia Cup.

India were without their star players including Virat Kohli, Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah. However, Shakib Al Hasan and Co. will face a full-strength Indian side on Thursday in Pune.
