SOUMYAJIT GHOSH

TableTennis.SoumajyitSoumyajit Ghosh (born 10 May 1993) is an Indian Table Tennis player from Siliguri, West Bengal. He was the youngest Indian player to qualify for the London, 2012 Olympics. He also became the youngest national champion at the age of 19. On 14 April 2016, he has been qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics.

SARATH KAMAL

TableTennis.SarathKamalAchanta Sharath Kamal (born on 12 July 1982) is a professional Table Tennis player from Tamil Nadu. He also captained the Indian men’s team on roads of victory, as it was during the same championship that India defeated favourites and nine-time champions England. In the same year, this ace player represented India in the 2004 Olympics in Athens and had been the India No. 1 for four years thence.

Achanta Sharath Kamal became the toast of the nation after the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. He was the person who gave India its first ever individual gold medal at Melbourne Commonwealth Games. Incidentally, Sharath is the only Indian Men’s Table Tennis player to be selected for the Beijing Olympics.
In 2004, Kamal was conferred with Arjuna Award, one of the highest civilian awards, in India.

MOUMA DAS

TableTennis.MoumaMouma Das (born 24 February 1984) is a Table Tennis player from West Bengal, India. In 1997, at the age of 13, Das made her first appearance in an international tournament (Commonwealth Championship). The 17 year journey has seen her notch up over 150 state, national and international medals. The five-time Nationals winner and five-time runner-up was bestowed with the precious Arjuna award, in 2013. Her domestic performances have seen her represent India at the World Table Tennis Championship,

for a record 13 times. She participated in the 2004 Olympic Games where she competed in the Women’s Singles category.
On 16 April 2016 she booked her tickets to Rio Olympics after winning the final rounds in Stage 2 of the Asia Olympic Qualification tournament.

MANIKA BATRA

TableTennis.batraManika Batra (born 15 June 1995) is an Indian Table Tennis player from Delhi. In 2014 she won silver & bronze at the Commonwealth Championships. She also grabbed three gold medals at the South Asian Games (SAG) — and finally a historic spot as one of four paddlers to represent India at the Olympic Games in Rio.
