Internet Desk: After two samples tested positive, samples of Narsigh Yadav further tested positive today. The last sample collected from the wrestler also found the same banned substance found in the previous sample.

“It’s the same substance that was found in the first test. It was unlikely that it would go out of the system,” a Wrestling Federation of Indian source said referring to banned anabolic steroid methandienone.

Previously Narsingh was tested on 25th June. That time both the sample- A and B were tested positive. Following that report of NADA he was provisionally suspended. His accreditation for Rio Olympic was also in hold.

NADA is waiting to declare the final report of the panel to decide the matter of Narsingh following the procedures to be completed. It may come out this Friday. But after the test report came out positive today Narsingh’s fly to Rio is about to be deemed.

However, a section of doctors told today Methandienone, the banned substance found in the dope test of wrestler Narsingh Yadav who has subsequently been suspended for the Rio Olympics, can stay in the body for long and be detected in urine up to eight weeks after the last use.
