Today Gagan advanced very good in the first two rounds. He also raised upto the third position of the table. However, failing all expectations he finished at the 13th spot. He scored a total of 623.1.

However, in the first three rounds he scored 104.7 104.4 and 104.6 consecutively. His form dropped from the fourth round. The last round, which others considered as their last chance, Gagan scored only 102.4, the lowest of all his rounds.

Alike Narang this event was disappointing for another shooter Chain Singh. From the beginning he was lagging behind. He finished at 36th spot scoring 619.6. He had an average of nearly 103 which made it definite that he cannot advance for the next round, the final round.
