Revealed: When will the ISL 2018/19 season begin?

XtraTime Web Desk: The Indian Super League today announced its fixtures for the forthcoming season until the mid-season break, which will feature 12 rounds and 59 matches. The opening match to be played at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.

In the opening game a new look ATK will face Kerala Blasters on September 29. The runners-up of the last season, Bengaluru FC will start their campaign against defending champions Chennaiyin FC on the next day at Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bemgaluru.




In the new season there will be three breaks, two for FIFA matches (8-16 October / 12-20 November 2018) and another will be from December 17 due to Indian Football team’s camp for preparation ahead of the AFC Asian Cup which will be played in UAE. The fixture for the new year will be disclosed later.




There are no more double headers in the ISL this time around while all games are set to kick-off at 7:30pm IST.
