Kolkata: Mohun Bagan fans might be delighted to know that their Head Coach Sanjoy Sen will be present from the opening day of their training for the I-League. The club officials met Sanjoy Sen today in a meeting where they also discussed their plans for the I-League.
Mohun Bagan celebrated their 10th Sikkim Governor’s Gold Cup Trophy today, by hoisting their flag at the club premises. Mohun Bagan Finance Secretary Mr.Debashish Dutta, Football Secretary Mr.Satyajit Chatterjee, coach Shankarlal Chakraborty, captain Kingshuk Debnath and the other key players were present at the club at the time of flag hoisting.
Mohun Bagan Coach for that competition Shankarlal Chakraborty said, “This has been my first trophy win as Mohun Bagan coach. But this has been a team performance. We are not complacent. Our next focus is on the I-League and we will get ready for that.”
On the flip side, Bagan Captain Kingshuk Debnath said, “I played with Rana Gharami for the first time this season and it worked well. We are happy with the success but it’s just the start. The mission is of course the I-League.”
