Nongdamba Naorem, Anwar Ali and Jeakson Singh will join Minerva Punjab before Super Cup

Jagrick Dey: I League champion Minerva Punjab will get Nongdamba Naorem, Anwar Ali and Jeakson Singh as they will return from Indian Arrows  before the Super Cup. Meanwhile, they went to Indian Arrows for lone and played in the recently concluded I League. They also played in the U-17 World Cup held in India.

Nongdamba Naorem scored a brilliant goal against Shilong Lajong left everyone stunned as he played 11 matches in this edition of I- League. While, stopper Anwar Ali impressed everyone with his defensive quality. Jeakson Singh, who scored the only goal for India in the U-17 World Cup against Colombia at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. He can play not only as an attacking midfielder but also as defensive midfielder. He played eight games for Indian Arrows in this season of I- League.
These trio made Minerva Punjab proud as Ranjit Bajaj, the team owner is also very excited to get them back in the squad. Ranjit said, “we are trying to get them here before the first match.”

The I League champions will face Jamshedpur FC in their opening fixture at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar on 2nd April. Minerva will look to keep the I League momentum going in the Super Cup.
