Internet Desk: After two stints with East Bengal, Ranti Martins bids good bye to East Bengal. Within these two years, the Nigerian has won two CFL titles with his former club and was the highest scorer in the I-league for the two consecutive years donning the Red and Gold jersey. The black spot only if there was any wass that he could not win the I-league for the Kolkata giants.

Before leaving for Nigeria tomorrow, Ranti Martins addressed a press conference at his residence today. He burst out at the officials as he did not receive a healthy farewell from the club.

Ranti Martins said, “I am leaving East Bengal and this was my last season. I am not renewing my contract with them. I will be returning home tomorrow. I have not yet decided when will I will return. I have a lot of offers from various clubs in India and outside India. I will go home and sit with my family and then decide. I want to say that in India Armando Colaco was my Godfather and will remain so as long as I play in India.”

“It was a bit unexpected the treatment I got from East Bengal after the service I have given for them. I am shocked and hurt. I do not know whether I will return to Kolkata or not.”
