Ranji Trophy: Do you know why the Bengal camp is a bit concerned ahead of facing Himachal?

XtraTime Web Desk: Moving aside all the controversies & hard feelings the Bengal cricket team is all set to start it’s Ranji Trophy campaign against Himachal Pradesh from Thursday. Though on paper Manoj Tiwary’s side is much more stronger than their opponent, but Bengal camp is a bit concerned about two reasons. One is how the pitch will behave on a cold morning at Amtar. And the other is Rishi Dhawan. The Himachal pacer always do very well in home conditions and that means a tough task is ahead of the Bengal batsmen in their first game of Ranji Trophy.

On being asked about the matter Bengal skipper Manoj Tiwary said,” Rishi has been doing well in home conditions in last few years. He knows the weather of this place very well. He has the ability of swinging the ball on both directions and that’s why beside the toss playing well against Rishi will be the key factor.
On the other hand Bengal cricket team almost practiced for three hours. Though the pitch curator has assured that it will be a sporting wicket but Manoj will go with all pace attack.
