Internet Desk: Arsenal woke up early on Tuesday and thanks to a late goal from Olivier Giroud managed to salvage a point in the 3-0 draw with Bournemouth away from home in a match for the 20th round of the  Premier League.

After scoring in the previous round against Crystal Palace an anthological goal that recalled the ‘scorpion’ movement, this time Giroud shone to save the Gunners from the defeat with two assists and a goal in the second half.

With a start of unrecognizable game and many individual errors, Arsenal was completely dominated and saw the home team open 2-0 in the first half with Daniels and Wilson on penalties. The difference was even greater when Fraser, in the 18 minutes of the second half, made the third of Bournemouth.

Arsenal only woke up in the final 20 minutes when Alexis Sanchez and Lucas Perez rocked the net with Giroud’s assist. At 47, it was up to the French forward to score the saving goal of a draw.

With the result, Arsenal remain in fourth place with 41 points, but can be overcome if Tottenham Hotspur win on Wednesday in the final game of the round, a Chelsea that will seek the 14th consecutive victory in the tournament.

On Tuesday, they also had Swansea’s away win, which ranks 19th in the standings, 2-1 at Crystal Palace. In addition, Stoke beat Watford at home 2-0.
