Kolkata: Palash Nandy is all set make a come back to maidan and this time as a coach yet again. Earlier he left as the coach of Mohun Bagan due to his age issues. However Nandy is abck after request from Y.M.C.A
Nandy will be coaching a cricket academy under Y.M.C.A which was opened today. The inauguration was attended by greats like Sambharan Banerjee, Gopal Basu and Saradindu Mukherjee.
After being back with coaching duties Nandy is visually happy as Sambharan Banerjee said, “Palash Nandy is a big coach and a good friend of mine as well was a great cricketer. In the 1981-82 season he scored 97 against England for the East Zone. A lot of cricketers would benefit under his coaching”
Gopal Basu too had similar thoughts as to how students would benefit from his coaching.
