NorthEast United ready to appoint famous Portuguese Coach

Indian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC are all set to appoint João Carlos Pires de Deus as their new head coach in place of Nelo Vingada for the forthcoming season, www.xtratime.in has been told by reliable sources.

The 40 years old Portuguese tactician has the experience of coaching international teams like West African nation, Cape Verde between 2008-2010. Later, he joined Spanish second division side AD Ceuta and was given the boot soon after.He then went on to extensively manage clubs in Portugal’s second tier. In 2014, the managerial job of Sporting Clube de Portugal ‘B’ was offered to him and De Deus then went on to spend three seasons in Cristiano Ronaldo’s boyhood club’s reserve team.

NorthEast United has retained Rowllin Borges and TP Rehenesh for the ISL 2017 and looking desperate to change their fortunes.Meanwhile, Kerala Blasters foreigner Michael Chopra tweeted that former Manchester City legend and Manager Stuart Pearce will likely be the new Head Coach for the KBFC side.
