XtraTime Web Desk: India win their second consecutive game after a demoralising start of the tri-nation series as they thumped hosts Sri Lanka by six wickets in their third game of the Nidahas Trophy in Colombo today. In a rain interrupted game, India skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to field first. Sri Lanka posted a respectable total of 152 for the loss of 9 wickets in the alloted 19 overs. Shardul Thakur was the pick of the bowlers for the Men in Blue as he took 4 wickets by giving just 27 runs.

In reply India won the game with 9 balls to spare thanks to a brilliant batting by Manish Pandey (42*) and Dinesh Karthik (39*). Both the batsmen remained not out at the end of game.
