XtraTime Web Desk: India snatched two golds in table tennis at 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast as the Men’s team bagged the gold followed by the women’s team.
Women’s team defeated Nigeria 3-0 to clinch the crown.
Achanta Sharath Kamal defeated Bode Abiodun 4-11, 11-5, 11-4, 11-9 to give India a 1-0 lead in the first match of the Final.
Sathiyan Gnanasekaran won 10-12, 11-3, 11-3, 11-4 over veteran Nigerian paddler Segun Toriola.
In the doubles event Sathiyan and Harmeet Desai defeated Nigerian duo of Olajide Omotayo and Abiodun 11-8, 11-5, 11-3 to hand India the title.
India now got 10 golds in this edition of Commonwealth Games.
