Australian Open : It’s Murray vs Djokovic In The Final

Internet Desk : Andy Murray defeated Milas Raonic in a mammoth five set thriller to reach the Australian Open Final. The Brit won the match 4-6,7-5,6-7(4-7),6-4,6-2 which lasted over four hours . Murray will now face Serbian Novak Djokovic in the final which will be played on Sunday at the Rod Laver Arena.

This will be Murray’s fifth Australian Open final appearance. Murray  will have a golden opportunity to avenge his loss in the 2015 Australian Open final . He also was unlucky in 2011 and 2013 .

Raonic won the first set. Murray came back in the second set to win 7-5. The Brit fought back in the fourth set after losing the third set in tiebreak eventually winning it 6-4. He totally outplayed Raonic in the final set. Meanwhile , Andy’s brother Jamie Murray also secured a place in the Doubles final . It is the first time that two brothers will be playing the Australian Open finals in the same year.

Djokovic leads Murray 21-9  head to head . Can the Brit cause an upset against the big serving Serb in the final on Sunday .
