Gopal Roy, Kolkata: What happens to be a shocker for almost all of the football fans of the city, is that a Mohun Bagan foreigner was seen playing in a local amateur football tournament. The name would surprise you all as in the previous season this footballer played exceedingly well at Churchill Brothers FC. Owing to his splendid performance he was scouted and then signed by the Kolkata giants, who have offered him a contract for the upcoming Calcutta Football League (CFL).

Ansumana Kromah was reportedly seen playing for Bali Youth at a tournament organized by Gayeshpur New Pathajatri Club. This tournament was held for a span of two days on Saturday and Sunday and as per reports, this foreigner of Green and Maroon club faked his name and took part in this tournament. The prize money for the tournament was around Rupees 50,000 to 70,000 and it is estimated that Kromah has apparently charged Rupees 15,000 to 18,000 per match in which he played.

The former Peerless player who came under the spotlight after his good performance with Churchill the previous season couldn’t stay away from these local football tournaments, which was quite occasional for him when he played for Peerless Club of the City.
