Kolkata: Mohun Bagan new recruit, former Southampton defender will arrive in the city tomorrow either in the morning or evening. Mohun Bagan assistant secretary, Srinjoy Basu said, “He will be boarding the flight today and will land in the city tomorrow either in the morning or evening.”
Earlier, there were clouds over Daniel Seaborne’s arrival as there were some visa concerns but ultimately it got resolved and he is arriving ahead of the CFL’s opening match of Mohun Bagan on the 6th August against Aryan Club.
According to sources, Daniel may not play the opening match as the coach would like to see him in the training for 3-4 days before deciding on him as the coaching staff is totally unknown of his conditions.
Daniel ‘Danny’ Seaborne, who last played for Scottish Premiership side Partick Thistle. The center back, with a plethora of experience in the English lower divisions, may join the Mariners after spells at Exeter City, Southampton and Coventry City.
Meanwhile, Prabir Das and Raynier Raymond Fernandes will sign at the IFA office tomorrow at 2 p.m.for Mohun Bagan.
