Kolkata: Mohun Bagan have been in constant talks with the Army XI duo of Arjun Tudu and Jain. P as the Green and Maroon brigade are shortage of strikers for the CFL.
The duo has been in terrific form in the last two editions of the CFL being an integral part of Army XI’s success in the CFL. The duo last played for Services in the Santosh Trophy and continued their good performance there as well.
Arjun Tudu said, “Yes, talks are on with Mohun Bagan but nothing is finalised yet as these decisions are taken by the Army officials in Delhi. We need to get the NOC at first. If the paper works are done, then there is no harm.”
Mohun Bagan finance secretary, Debashis Dutta said, “Yes we are in talks with these two players. But we are yet to sign them.”
Last season, East Bengal too was desperate to sign the duo but the Red and Gold officials failed to sign them as they did not get the NOC from Army officials.
