Kolkata: Mohun Bagan heartthrob and star Haitian hurricane, Sony Norde will arrive in Kolkata on October 24, 2:10 am. This year he is not only a player of the team, the officials have given him the captain’s arm band too. Except Sony the Green & Maroon Brigade has already signed four more foreigners for the forthcoming I-League season. They are Dipanda Dicka, Ansumana Kromah, Yuta Kinowaki and Diogo Ferriera.
Sony has been involved with the team since the beginning of the season. Ahead of the Calcutta League Derby he posted a video message on his facebook account to encourage the side. Later ahead of the Sikkim Governors Gold Cup he wished the team again. Every Mohun Bagan fan knows his commitment for the team and he proved that again today as the club has confirmed that he will join the team’s practice session on the same day at the Club Ground from 8:30 am onwards under Head Coach Mr. Sanjoy Sen.
The Green and Maroon Brigade will start their training session for the I-League from 23rd October but Sony will be joining the squad a day later as he has international duties for the nation.
