Mohammedan Sporting shows special gesture, sends a strong message to Indian football culture
Kolkata: Mohammedan Sporting Club Football Committee Chairman Mr. Dipendu Biswas has donated Rs. 50000 to former Atletico de Kolkata Junior Team goalkeeper Rahul Das for his treatment. The young shot-stopper, who idolize former Mohammedan Sporting custodian Priyant Singh, joined ISL franchise ATK's Junior Team last season in the squad which plays the lower division of Calcutta Football League and torn his ligament while playing a practice match against Calcutta Customs. After months of wrong treatment followed by a failed surgery made the matter worse for Rahul who now almost have his career ended.
