Mohammedan Look To Clinch Eastern Conference; Face Neroca FC In Last Game.

Kolkata: Mohammedan Sporting Club will be aiming for all three points when they host Neroca FC in an crucial 2nd Division League Eastern Conference encounter at the Mohammedan  Sporting Club Ground in Kolkata on Saturday (Januray 16).

Currently top of the table, Mohammedan Sporting (13 pts) need a win from this final round encounter to clinch the Eastern Conference. For the record, Neroca FC and Gangtok Himalayan SC are on 12 points respectively.

Going into the game on the back of an unexpected 2-0 loss against Gangtok Himalayan last week, Mohammedan will be missing a host of players due to injury and personal reasons.

Despite the situation, Coach Bhattacharya stays positive ahead of the game and said, “Yes we are missing a number of players but at the same time we have enough depth in our squad. The young players in our team have been working hard in recent games and so we are confident ahead of the Neroca FC game.”
