Mohammed Shami’s Brother Involved in a Brawl With Cops

Internet  Desk :  Indian pace bowler Mohammed Shami’s elder brother Mohammed Haseeb, who had been arrested by the Amroha police in Uttar Pradesh for physically assaulting policemen to save an accused held in cow smuggling , later got a bail on medical background . He allegedly  reached the spot with his friends and argued with police officers until the argument turned violent and tore the uniform of one of the officials, SO Pradeep Bhardwaj who had arrested the cow smuggler.

But Haseeb, says that he was just an onlooker who was watching the fight between the cops and the smuggler. “Today Mohammad Haseeb reached the spot along with 5 of his friends and physically attacked the cops. They tore our police uniforms. Taking advantage of the situation, the cow smuggler, named Rizwan, escaped from the police van.” said Sheel Kumar Singh, DSP Amroha .

Shami’s father, Tausif Ahmed said over the phone , “We were mentally shocked and devastated when he came to know about the news . We are relieved  now  as he got the bail .”

One of the top pacers of India, Mohammad Shami, was a part of India’s 15-member ODI squad for Australia but recently returned home due to a hamstring injury.
