XtraTime Web Desk: Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Hafeez has confirmed on Wednesday that he has tested COVID-19 negative. Hafeez was among the ten cricketers who were declared having tested COVID-19 positive by the Pakistan Cricket Board on Tuesday.


Hafeez took to twitter to confirm the news on Wednesday and also said he went on to take a ‘second opinion’ for satisfaction. The Pakistan all rounder said he and all his family members have tested negative for coronavirus. “After Tested positive COVID-19 acc to PCB testing Report yesterday,as 2nd opinion & for satisfaction I personally went to Test it again along with my family and here I along with my all family members are reported Negative (sic) Alham du Lillah. May Allah keep us all safe,”

Hafeez also posted a picture of his medical report along with the tweet.
Hafeez and Wahab Riaz are among the 10 England-bound Pakistan players, who tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday. The Pakistan team is due to leave for England on June 28. There will be another tests carried out on all the cricketers on June 25. Cricketers found negative shall only board the charter flight to Manchester said in a release sent by PCB on Tuesday.
