XtraTime Web Desk: Indian football stars like I.M Vijayan, Bhaichung Bhutia, Renedy Singh, Basudeb Mondal, Debjit Ghosh, Dipendu Biswas, Hemanta Dora, Sandip Nandi and Mehtab Hossain will donate money for their beloved Bablu da as he is fighting against liver cancer.
Former AIFF president Priyaranjan Dasmunsi was assisted by Mr. Bishnu Prasad De, popularly known as Bablu Da in Kolkata maidan. Mr. De always tried to help the footballers but now fighting a battle for his life. xtratime.in published a news on the current health status of Mr. De. After reading the news Bhaichung Bhutia said, “It’s sad to hear the news. I’m in Sikkim now. In Kolkata there is Debjit(Debjit Ghosh), Basu (Basudeb Mondal). They should look at the issue. Personally, I will help him.”
I.M Vijayan, the star footballer of Keralais now bit worried about the natural calamity of Kerala but still wants to stand by Mr. Dey as he said, “
You all know the situation in Kerala. It’s a difficult situation but, I am with his family and I’m ready to help him.”
Former Indian defender Renedy Singh said, “We have a very little time to help but I will try by myself and Bhaichung to give some money to his family.”
“I am associated with a political party now so I can’t give time but I will help him financially.” Said former striker Dipendu Biswas.
Mehtab Hossain said, “ xtratime.in raised funds for Mohun Bagan fan Bapi Majhi and Alip Chakroborty I was there with them and now they came forward to support Bablu da and I am with them. I will try my best for his recovery.
Goalkeeper Sandip Nandi said, “I am shocked after hearing the news. The moment I came to know this from xtratime.in I decided to do something for Bablu da. I already spoke to Alvito regarding this. I hard xtratime has already spoke with FPAI and that will be the best way.”
Not only the footballers but also the AIFF as the senior Vice President of AIFF Mr. Subrata Dutta will meet the Federation president Praful Patel on 22 nd August and he will hand over the letter sent by the family members of Mr. De.
