Xtra Time Web Desk: Kylian Mbappe is all set to sign for Real Madrid if things fall in place. The signing of the PSG striker for Rea Madrid is imminent after an exchange of emails, offers and words in recent days. Real Madrid have offered 170 million euros plus an additional 10m euros in potential bonuses and this will be accepted by the French club, finally allowing Mbappe his dream of representing the Los Blancos.

An official announcement could take place as soon as Friday, with the World Cup winner set to arrive in the Spanish capital before he joins up with the French squad for the international break.

Real Madrid believes they have done everything within the laws of football transfers and that they have acted correctly. As soon as Mbappe made it clear that he wanted to join, the destiny of the transfer was in their hands. PSG is expected to give the green signal soon.

Even if the transfer isn't announced before PSG's Ligue 1 match at Reims this weekend, Mbappe would likely be left out of Mauricio Pochettino's squad for that contest.

Mbappe is likely to get jersey no 19 which was worn by Alvaro Odriozola. With No.7 and No.10 already being already taken by Eden Hazard and Luka Modric and La Liga not allowing clubs to use numbers above No.25 unless it belongs to an academy player, there are currently three options from which Mbappe can choose: No.19, No.5 and No.23.
