To get him back to form, Umesh Yadav attended a one and a half year training session with assistant coach Simon Katich at the Eden Gardens today. He bowled hard at the nets specially working on the block hole deliveries at the deaths. After the training, Simon Katich said, “Umesh is an experienced cricketer. He knows how to make a come back after one or two poor matches.” Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders is scheduled the face the Gujarat Lions on Sunday at the Eden Gardens. Apart from Lions, Mumbai Indians are the most formidable side in the tournament, against whom we lost both the games.” Sunil Narine who missed the last match against KXIP due to a finger injury is likely to return against the Lions. Simon Katich said,” We are working on his fitness. He will return to the squad soon. He has been an important member to the squad.”
