Top seed Srikanth took just61 minutes for the 21-13, 14-21, 21-14 win over the World No 73 Srikanth , a winner of a Super Series Premier and a Super Series event, took the game to the opponent from get-go, troubling the Chinese with his volleys and placement. Srikanth, who finished runner up  last year, already had two GP Gold titles against his name, the Thailand Open in 2013 and Swiss Open in 2015. It was far from an easy contest though.
