ISL.com[/caption] Internet Desk: ISL franchisee Kerala Blasters are in talks with former England goalkeeper and their ex-coach in the inaugural season, David James after negotiations with Juan Ignacio Martinez have been stopped from progress. The Yellow and Blue brigade of Kerala were in advanced negotiations with the former Levante boss, who has coached the likes of Keylor Navas, Arouna Kone, Thomas Partey and Asier Del Horno. However, in a recent development, talks have hit a roadblock after the two parties haven’t been able to close the deal. Blasters have been quick to respond as they have begun to look for alternate options with David James being the leading candidate. James, who was the marquee player-manager of Blasters in the inaugural edition of the Indian Super League (ISL), guided the club to a runner-up finish. It will be interesting to see who will be at the helm after a disappointing season where they finished bottom of the pile.
