ISL 2018/19: Super sub Pranjal Bhumij’s late strike helps Mumbai to play out a draw against Kerala Blasters


XtraTime Web Desk: Late equalizer from substitute Pranjal Bhumij helped Mumbai City FC to get their first point against Kerala. The home side was on top for most of the game but it was a thumping strike that leveled the proceedings at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.




In the 25th minute, Holicharan Narzary scored for the home side but the build-up play to the goal was exquisite. Seiminlen Doungel with a cheeky backheel to Matej Poplatnik, who sets up Narzary for the goal. Amrinder Singh had no chance of saving that.




Kerala didn’t let Mumbai to have a decent chance at goal since it took the lead.

Mumbai got their equalizing goal in the dying minutes of the match as the substitute Pranjal Bhumij as scored a screamer. He smashed it home from outside the box and Dheeraj Singh had no chance of saving that.
