ISL 2018/19: Kerala Blasters announces the future of David James

XtraTime Web Desk: Big news in The Hero Indian Super League as Kerala Blasters part ways with former British no.1 David James. James was having his second stint with KBFC after he was being sacked following the first season.

Kerala Blasters and James though have decided to end their association on a mutual consent. The former England goal-keeper, who joined the team in January 2018 as Head coach played an instrumental role in the Team’s journey through a crucial juncture during ISL Season 4. He also continued to lead the team during Season 5 of the ISL till December 2018.

Club CEO Varun Tripuraneni said “The club would like to thank David for his efforts towards the team and wishes him all the very best in his career.”

“I’d like to thank the management, players and all staff for their support during my stint with the club. I wish them the very best for the future. The fans here have been amazing and I’d like to thank them too for a memorable experience.” said David James.
