Internet Desk: Indian Super League’s Kerala based franchise Kerala Blasters has roped in their sixth foreign footballer for the forthcoming 2017-18 Indian Super League season. Legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar owned Kerala has signed Dutchman Mark Sifneos who is regarded as a striker. He joins the likes of Iain Hume, Courage Pekuson, Nemanja Lakic-Pesic, Wes Brown and Paul Rachubka for ISL season 4.

The Men in Yellow have been in talks with former Manchester United forward of Bulgaria Dimitar Berbatov and it is also learnt that the talks are going to a positive direction. Ahead of that signing of a striker is quite surprising.

The 21 years old Dutch forward is another good inclusion in the squad after the signing of young Ghanaian Pekuso. Sifneos was a player of Eerste Divisie club RKC Waalwijk last season and played three matches for the main side. As per the sources of Blasters, Meulensteen’s strong connection with Holland helped Kerala to sign this young talent.

Sifneos is well known for scoring through his good right-foot and his 6ft 3inch height would definitely help him in air. Beside a complete striker like Iain Hume, Sifneos could prove to be a lethal force for Meulensteen’s side.
