Hero ISL franchise Jamshedpur FC adds another fire-power to their squad with the signing of Brazilian play-maker Matheus Trindade Goncalves for the forthcoming season.

With this signing, the Tata Steel owned outfit continues their trend of recruiting players with prior experience of playing in the ISL. They had signed former NorthEast United defender Andre Bikey on Monday.

The 21-year-old Goncalves had spent the 2016-17 season of the ISL on loan at FC Goa from his parent club Flamengo back in Brazil.

He made 13 appearances for the Goa outfit scoring one solitary goal in their 5-4 win over Chennaiyin FC.

The Brazilian midfielder returned to Flamengo at the start of the year from where he was immediately loaned out to Ceara Sporting Club for a period of three months before being loaned again to GO Audux in May this year.

The young midfielder will now line up under the tutelage of ex-Reading manager Steve Coppell in the Jamshedpur-based side’s first foray in the ISL.
