Xtra Time Web Desk: Former India all rounder Irfan Pathan is the latest in the list of cricketers who recently participated in Road Safety World Series, to have tested positive for COVID-19. Irfan joins legendary Sachin Tendulkar, Yusuf Pathan and S Badrinath who have all been infected with the dreaded virus. Irfan took to twitter on Monday to declare that he had tested positive with no symptoms and have been isolating himself and quarantining at home.

He tweeted, “I have tested positive for COVID-19 with no symptoms and have isolated myself and quarantined at home.”

“I would request those who came in contact with me in the recent past to please get themselves tested” added Irfan.

The Baroda all rounder also had a social message for everyone.

“Urging all to wear masks and maintain social distancing. Wishing you all good health.” Tweeted Irfan .

Irfan played a key role in India legends clinching the Road Safety World Series title at Raipur recently. He scored 8 runs from three balls faced and took two wickets for 14 runs against Sri Lanka legends in the final.
